About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Human Resources Advisor to support our predominantly blue-collar workforce. This is a true generalist role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with Factory Managers and Supervisors, providing practical advice across:
Employee relations
Performance and behaviour management
Grievances
Compliance
Workforce planning and people processes
Ideal work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, however we are flexible to discuss further.
What you will be doing
Providing day-to-day guidance to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle
Supporting and coaching leaders through performance management processes
Managing employee relations matters with confidence and professionalism
Analysing monthly HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities
Driving HR initiatives and supporting continuous improvement across the business
Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels
Working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Support end to end recruitment processes and new employee onboarding
Desired Skills and Experience
What we are looking for
Experience working in a manufacturing, construction or blue-collar environment (highly regarded)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence, negotiate and build trusted relationships
A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Great problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
Payroll or HR systems exposure (advantageous)
Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field will be highly desirable
